Checking in with Elizabeth Wholey in Umbria, Italy

This episode of Inspiring Living features one of our dear friends from Umbria, Italy, Elizabeth Wholey. We met Elizabeth many years ago during our Candelaria Design Tour Italy adventures and she has been our on-site chef and host for over ten years now when we stay at her Farmhouses while in Umbria.

This is Elizabeth's third appearance on our podcast and she gives us an update on how things are going there in Italy with the whole Covid-19 Pandemic. It is very interesting to get her perspective on how Italy has been dealing with the pandemic, especially over the course of the recent holidays, and shares her thoughts on how this might play out over the course of 2021.

We have scheduled our 2021 Candelaria Design Tour Italy thinking and hoping we might be able to pull it off this year. This will be our 16th Tour Italy over the last 20 years, so you do not want to miss being a part of this experience and get to meet Elizabeth for yourself. Our dates are set for September 15th - 29th starting in Florence, a week in Umbria and Tuscany, and finishing with a stay at the Villa d'Este on Lake Como. Enjoy our podcast from Italy and the Inspiring Brombal Window Company. My partner Vivian Ayala and I along with a group of some of our country's best architects and builders were guests on their tour of their factory and the surrounding area and we all came away completely inspired. The Brombal passion and commitment to their product and team sets the bar very high.

Their history & love for what they do has shaped their success as a window and door manufacturer. They are constantly pushing the limits in design and performance, so that their clients can realize extraordinary projects.

As the oldest, most experienced, and most customizable thermally broken metal window, door, and curtain wall manufacturer in the world – they are leading the industry. So next time you see or hear the name Brombal, know that the real meaning behind this is trust. A product you can trust, performance you can trust, and service you can trust.

As a family run business with hundreds of successfully completed projects throughout the world, they believe great architecture must live on long after we’re gone - something I think they understand living in Italy. For this reason their steel windows and doors & brass windows and doors are made with the utmost care and quality. From classic doors to contemporary operable walls of glass and all styles in between – discover freedom to create with Brombal – the world’s first thermally broken luxury metal window and door manufacturer.

Marco is from Rome and before starting his furniture career was involve with the Italian Ministry of Beauty of Art doing art documentary. 25 years ago he decided to move to the USA, bringing along Italian luxury products from hardwood to furniture, cabinetry to kitchens. His goal is to make available to the US market not only large brand name companies, but also the small artisans that do not have the ability to showcase their extraordinary skills across the world.

Isabel Dellinger Candelaria and her associate Nikka Bochniak of Earth and Images of Scottsdale finished up the Highpoint Market Podcasts with their views and thoughts on this year’s market.
